After making its platform RGAA compliant, Convertigo is proud to announce that the platform is now aligned with the DSFR.
The DSFR, or State Design System, is a set of reusable components governed by standards and governance, intended for building websites and applications.
It aims to improve the quality and consistency of public digital services, optimizing user experience and ensuring maximum accessibility for everyone, including people with disabilities.
Its objectives:
1. Accessibility: ensure that websites and applications are usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.
2. Consistency and ergonomics: provide simple and intuitive user journeys, maintaining visual and functional harmony across various state websites and applications.
3. Security: ensure that public digital services are secure and trustworthy.
4. Identifiability: facilitate the recognition of public digital services provided by the state through a coherent visual identity.
The advantages of the DSFR:
- Time and cost savings: using ready-to-use components and templates saves time and reduces development costs. This approach has already saved approximately 8 million euros.
- Harmonization: more than 350 sites already use the DSFR, contributing to a homogeneous and recognizable user experience.
- Training and support: the DINUM (Inter-ministerial Digital Directorate) trains state agents to master design and accessibility concepts and offers technical support through a digital intervention brigade.
